Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Minibus Driver & Maintenance Assistant (D1/PSV Operator Licence or willing to train) to join our driving and Maintenance team across sites at Claires Court School as soon as possible.

About the role:

Working closely with the Site Manager, the Minibus Driver & Maintenance Assistant will provide general maintenance and caretaking duties ensuring the site is kept well maintained and in good order, and prepare it, as required, for school activities. In addition, if/when licenced your role will be to transport students and staff between sites used by the school.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable DIY and Maintenance skills, with a real drive to support the site team to ensure that the School facilities and buildings operate smoothly and efficiently.

Experience of working in a school would be preferable, but is not essential.  Applicants must be confident in using their own initiative and be flexible in their approach to work.


Working hours:

This is a full-time post working 40 hours per week, all year round, Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be between approximately 8.00am to 5.30pm. The post holder will also be expected to participate in emergency call out arrangements.  Salary will depend on your driving qualifications.
