A typical day will include:
As a Support Worker at Summergil, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our young people, supporting their daily activities, educational needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including teachers, therapists and other Support Workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
- Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
- Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team.
- Support our young people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our young people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
