Job Description
To provide a high quality, controlled and cost-effective process for access to the online banking systems utilised by many Legal & General areas. Be the SME for these processes. This includes the audit, validation, and set-up process (and ongoing management of access) to multiple banking platforms, ensuring the various segregation and controls are in place as per Group payment policies.
What you will be doing:
  • Be the main point of contact for all administrative based queries (setting up / access / issues / deletions / amendments etc) for any online banking systems utilised by the business.
  • The list of banks / portals can change depending on divisional requirements.
  • Take an active role in any banking administration projects that involve us, ensuring the systems access / initial set-up of systems and staff as well as ongoing costs and allocations are controlled. Assist the management team with any ad-hoc projects, CI initiatives or queries that may arise.
  • Ensure accurate MI is collated and maintained for yourself (timesheets) as well as the team's workload. Review/completion of Risk, Compliance, procedure notes and PCRM mapping in line with Group Finance procedures as well as ensuring any audit queries are managed effectively
  • Manage requests using the MyTech / ServiceNow systems in line with team processes. Manage standard requests for access, ensuring cards / PINS and any consumables are ordered, tracked and distributed. Manage the service now dashboard for the team and manage any changes to software requirements through the relevant L&G teams.
  • Handle internal queries from staff and external queries from banks via telephone or email in a timely, accurate and professional manner to satisfy the needs of the team / business and/or project.
  • MOLAR Process - ensure the MOLAR processes are completed timely with all details completed fully. Raise and escalate any issues as and when required. Ensure appropriate consultation with divisional contacts to ensure a timely, completed return of MOLAR, ensuring the return is actioned and reviewed.
Qualifications
  • General awareness of online banking platforms would be desirable but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of the segregation / setup requirements of the banking policy maintained by group Treasury would be desirable but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications - particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of the divisional structure within L&G and its dependencies on payments / online banking systems.
  • Proactively seeks solutions to problems.
  • Clarifies objectives, aims, time-scales and required outcomes.
  • Obtains appropriate factual data to assist in decision-making.
  • Builds and develops strong relationships with external contacts, staff, peers and other contacts within the business.
