Juice is thrilled to be working with a leading financial services company based in central Bath, within close proximity of great public transport links.
The successful candidate will be joining the Reconciliation and Banking Team, supporting the daily internal and external reconciliation of client money accounts, checking for shortfalls of corporate accounts and processing payments. This role may suit someone with a strong interest in finance, accounts / economics.
The company offers ongoing investment and support in staff to include support with industry recognised qualifications, 'in-role' training, feedback, appraisals / CPD plans and opportunities for internal promotion.
DAY TO DAY:
- Daily internal and external client money reconciliations.
- Daily internal stock reconciliations.
- Investigating bank reconciliations.
- Be the liaison for Third Parties such as fund managers and banks.
- Cheque processing, banking, and tax.
- Assist the CASS Team in their responsibilities.
- Ensuring that monthly CMAR is up to date and correct.
- Weekly reviews of CASS reports.
- Supporting the company's on-going CASS adherence.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
- A background and previous experience working in reconciliations.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail.
- Confident working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Confident knowledge and skills of Microsoft Excel practices.
- Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or an equivalent industry recognised qualification.
- A good understanding of CASS.
- Proactive, energetic and enthusiastic with a sociable background.
- Previous understanding of investments and investment products.
