At Hilton Aberdeen TECA, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. Our hotel is renowned for its luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and culinary excellence. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar and Restaurant Manager, reporting to Operations Manager to join our team and lead our food and beverage operations to new heights.

The Bar and Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Bar and Restaurant outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen eye for detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team of Bar and Restaurant staff to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing development opportunities to enhance team performance and morale.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all aspects of Bar and Restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Monitor and analyse sales and financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Guest Experience:

  • Create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering personalized service and anticipating their needs.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Implement service standards and procedures to uphold the Hilton brand promise and enhance guest satisfaction scores.

Menu Development and Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop innovative menus and beverage offerings that reflect market trends and guest preferences.
  • Conduct regular menu tastings and evaluations to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify opportunities for menu enhancements and service improvements.

Relationship Building and Sales:

  • Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and local vendors to enhance the hotel's reputation and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote Bar and Restaurant offerings, plan special events, and attract new customers.
  • Actively participate in networking events, industry associations, and community initiatives to increase brand visibility and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar management, menu planning, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Restaurant management software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
