Job Overview:
As a Bar Supervisor / Assistant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pub, ensuring outstanding customer service, and leading a great team. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards, optimizing sales, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise bar staff, including training, and scheduling.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer enquiries and concerns.
- Monitor and control stock levels inlcuding placing orders as needed.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash registers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions and events.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost control initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new drink recipes.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legal guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and drink preparation an advantage.
- Familiarity with stock management and financial aspects of bar operations useful.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- Relevant certifications and licenses as required can be provided for the right person.
