Barista/Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders
• Prepare beverages according to recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food items, including baked goods, sandwiches, pastries and desserts
• Make recommendations based on customers’ preferences
• Up-sell additional products and take orders
• Comply with health and safety regulations regarding food
• Stay up-to-date with new products
• Explain our commitment to environmental sustainability

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Barista at coffee shops
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situation
• Team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
