Job description

This role is a Business Development Manager for a 9 year old SaaS business from Manchester. They have developed a leading data validation platform that enables manufacturers and retailers to understand what their customers want to see on shelves. This helps reduce the time and costs spent developing new products, which makes for better products, faster. The wasted cost and effort of failed developments is estimated to be c. £3bn per year globally.

The business has doubled revenues in the last year and it is aiming at a £100m valuation by 2025. Their customers include the likes of Tesco, M&S, Weetabix and Muller.

Your role will be to target Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers. You will be supported by a strong SDR and Marketing team. You will be comfortable with C Level selling, winning and growing mid-large accounts in this sector.

Ideally you will have come from a Consumer Data or Market Intelligence led sale, alternatively you may have great experience selling SaaS into the boardrooms of Retailers and CPG businesses.

This is a hybrid working role with 2 days per week in the company's head office in central Manchester.
