GSL Education is on the lookout for a Behaviour Support in Islington!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support professional to join their client school based in Islington. As a Behaviour Support, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and conducive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.
• Providing one-on-one support and guidance to students to help them overcome behavioural issues and achieve their academic potential.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop individualized behaviour intervention plans.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and behaviour patterns.
• Assisting in the implementation of school-wide behaviour policies and initiatives.
• Offering support during classroom activities and promoting positive behaviour among students.

Educational Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting is highly desirable.
• Training or certification in behaviour management techniques or counselling is an advantage.

Requirements from You:

• The Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through us.
• Two professional child-related references.
• An updated CV.
