Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and mental well-being of our students. You will work closely with our experienced staff to implement individualized strategies, helping students overcome challenges and thrive in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of behaviour management plans.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to tailor educational approaches.
- Monitor and track student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- A compassionate and understanding approach.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or related field.
