SalaryAre you a Behaviour Mentor seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to work in an alternate provision near Halesowen.
The role will be working with students who have been excluded from a mainstream environment across key stage 3 and 4 (classes no larger than 9 pupils). This position is full time, starting as soon as possible and is for at least 1 term with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Duties of a Behaviour mentor:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support.
- Supporting the students with their work (mainly reading and writing)
- Maintain excellent behaviour management in the classroom.
- A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children.
- Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.
To apply for this Behaviour mentor role, you will need:
- School experience (desirable but not essential)
- Experience working with young adults or children is desirable.
- Good behaviour management skills and be confident following school behaviour policies.
- A substantial reference.
- UK Work experience
