Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a small class of pupils who require additional support and guidance. Your role is crucial in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. You'll collaborate with experienced staff to ensure the well-being and progress of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to pupils with SEMH needs, assisting them in overcoming challenges and developing positive behaviours.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs and interests.
- Promote positive mental health and well-being within the school community.
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team.
