Behavioural Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural needs? An Alternative Provision is currently seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to work with students on a one-to-one basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in a respectful and inclusive environment, collaborating closely with teachers and parents to guide and support the behaviour of individual learners.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of students across various age groups (4-16 years).
- Assist teachers within the classroom by promoting respectful behaviour and aiding students with assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop tailored curriculums and programs for individual students.
Skills Desired for the Role:
- Background in supporting individuals with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Approachable and passionate about mentoring and supporting students.
- Safeguarding Children training.
- TeamTeach training.
