SalaryMadisons Recruitment are currently working with a highly reputable joinery business located in Luton, Bedfordshire in their search for an experienced Bench Joiner with site experience to join their team on a full time basis.
Our client are looking for experienced and capable Bench Joiners, with additional site installation experience, to work in their workshop based in Luton who are looking to develop their skills within a fast paced working environment and complete all aspects of the required project from start to finish.
Main duties include:
- Carrying out the assembly and construction of all Joinery items
- Reading drawings and instructions
- Setting out
- Proficient and safe in the use of modern woodworking machinery, powered and hand tools
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Planning work and work station
- Requiring minimal supervision to produce work
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team on a working construction site
Key requirements:
- Successful applicants will have a minimum of 3 years experience and hold either a City and Guilds/NVQ2 or equivalent Joinery qualification.
- CNC experience would also be advantageous, though not essential.
