Bending Machine Setter/Operator

Bending Machine Setter/Operator vacancy needed for company based in Luton - Leagrave area.

Shift pattern: Monday to Wednesday 7am/5:15pm and Thursday 7am/5:00pm

Key areas of job;

• Setting and operating of Bending machines to support production output
• Ensure focus on Health & Safety is maintained – specifically for areas of responsibility
• Ensure team has all necessary tools to carry out their tasks
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the team where appropriate
• Support business initiatives continuous improvement projects
• Maintain high standards of 5S

Key essential requirements;

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Background in engineering working with CNC Bending Machines
• Ability to work under pressure and react swiftly to changing priorities
• Demonstrated communication skills at all levels within the business
• Ability to formulate plans to contain and resolve issues
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and able to prioritise effectively

Machine specific training will be provided where necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
