A Benefits Officer role consists of:
Delivering a prompt and accurate customer service
Sharing expertise's and knowledge with inexperienced colleagues
Carrying out complex assessments
The maintenance and updating of claims in response to internal and external sources of information.
Reviewing and revising decisions made by self or others.
Accurate and prompt assessments of claims for household goods, housing benefits, emergency payments and council tax reduction
