You will work closely with the Head of Data and the data engineer to help implement an exciting data-driven initiative using Azure Data Lake technologies and Power BI. As a BI Analyst you will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making throughout the organisation.
The insights you develop will be used to support the executive board and senior leadership in making informed, strategic & tactical decisions based on accurate and actionable data. You will also be responsible for driving valuable insights for senior leadership across our schools and homes, supporting our goal to improve the opportunities and outcomes for the children and young people in our care.
This role involves managing and analysing multiple datasets, creating visualizations and reports, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You will work closely with other departments to understand, and support, their data needs.

Here’s what we need from you:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field
• Proven track record of working with large and/or complex datasets and conducting extensive data analysis
• Proven experience in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI tools as well as working with multiple data sources and generating a consolidated view to provide valuable insights across the business
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field OR at least 4 years’ experience as a BI Analyst
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
•Knowledge of data visualization principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The position will be remote within in the UK, however you may be required to travel on occasion for team meetings.
