Our client within the public sector is a prominent public sector institution. It has a strong commitment to enhancing its technological capabilities to better serve the community.
They are currently looking for a BI Analyst for their Leeds office.
Job Description
A successful BI Analyst will;
- Conduct data analysis and create reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members to develop efficient data management systems.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide technical support to other departments when needed.
- Develop and implement BI tools and dashboards.
- Contribute to the training of staff on data management and analysis.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
The Successful Applicant
A successful BI Analyst will have;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience creating ad hoc SQL queries of T-SQL
- Understand basic concepts of BI Architecture such as ETL, Data Warehousing and Data Modelling
- Ability to manipulate, model, and analyse data using Excel, SQL, QlikView, Qlik Sense
- Experience developing reports using data visualisation tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau or PowerBI
