THE ROLE
Working within our Business Intelligence Team you will ensure accurate data is available for use in reporting and analysis of British Business Bank's (BBB) programmes that relate to an asset class.
You will become the subject matter expert on the data available to BBB for analysis and reporting on a range of investment types via a wide range of delivery partners, including investment funds, alternative finance providers and challenger banks, and be responsible for the accuracy of data loaded into the data warehouse and also the accuracy of information provided to internal and external stakeholders. This will include validating all data and processing and manipulating data into management information.
You will also carry out analysis of data and production of bespoke reports for information requests from all levels internally and from external stakeholders and be the key contact with external fund delivery partner contacts with regards to reporting information.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience of Microsoft products including Excel (intermediate or above) and Power BI, with excellent attention to detail, data handling and numeracy skills. You will have sound analytical skills, problem solving, interpretation and judgement, with the ability to develop into a subject matter expert and apply such knowledge to a role.
It will be advantageous to have experience of the Microsoft Analytics and Power technology stack, schema-less database technologies and of an investment management business.
