BI Developer - £65,000 - REMOTE

We have partnered up with an award-winning Microsoft Consultancy to help grow their Data and AI practice. You will be joining a business that values their employee's strengths, providing them the tools that they need to develop within their career. You will be delivering full life-cycle solutions to clients from all aspects including data acquisition, engineering modelling, analysis and visualisation. The successful candidate will also be running workshops with clients and senior stakeholders whilst communicating on a technical and non-technical level.

Role & Responsibilities

• Migrating on-premises data solutions to the cloud
• Delivering reports, dashboards and analysis using tools such as Power BI
• Offering support and development of a data solution following going live

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL Server stack (SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
• Proven track record of requirement gathering from various levels of stakeholders across a business
• Strong experience in a BI, Data Engineering or Data Warehouse Development role
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or SQL Server technology stack
• Strong experience in designing and developing ETL processes using the Azure platform
• Some experience in implementing Data Lakes
• Good experience working with large data volumes in a BI or Data Warehouse project
• Good experience with complex SQL queries and stored procedures
