Bids and Tender Coordinator Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

Based in Farringdon

Hybrid Role - 2 days in office, 3 at home

A successful management and recruitment consultancy business based in Farringdon is looking for a Bids and Tenders Coordinator to support with the coordination of bids and Tenders. Ensuring there is a robust infrastructure in place for all bid activities and providing support for the senior team for project. Looking for a Bid and Tender Coordinator with exceptional communication and project management to support the business with its growth.

Duties Include:

  • Supporting liaison between the Bids & Tenders Manager and other team members, ensuring timely inputs as required
  • Coordinate bid production activities for selection questionnaires
  • Writing some parts of the bid, ensuring high quality, consistent and compelling writing
  • Ensuring submission of bids in accordance with deadline and format requirements
  • Checking tender portals and inbox for new opportunities and clarifications on existing tenders
  • Ensuring that tenders overview records and Standard Company Information are updated and maintained
  • Maintaining the bid library, ensure these are refreshed and that they showcase businesses expertise and track record across a comprehensive range of consultancy areas
  • Record-keeping and liaising with the Bids and Tenders Manager and others to support performance and business reporting
  • Keeping the bids infrastructure under review to raise standards and ensure we pre-empt market changes in bidding activity
  • Tracking and updating relevant information on 'New Work' project pipeline from proposal to appointment stage
  • Weekly company wide updates outlining weekly performance in proposal submission, work won, and work lost.
  • Analysing data and producing reports to the Finance Director
  • Scheduling and attending frequent project meetings and providing administrative support to senior team and Directors
  • Formulating and formatting reports and document as and when required

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in working within bids or proposals - preferably Public Sector bidding
  • Experience of handling numerical/information data sets
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree educated
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines

  • 25 days, plus bank holidays. Rises by one day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days
