We have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our client based in either Sunderland or Adlington.
This is a permanent role with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer working for a Company with over 25 years’ experience providing operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions.
Duties:
• Manage bids pipeline
• Take ownership of all bid submissions and ensure process is followed, accuracy of bids and diligent review is delivered across all opportunities
• Accountable for folder and structure management of all opportunities
• Responsible for completing all audits of the bid process
• Review and present all opportunities to the management team
• Analysis of bid costs
• Liaise with purchasing teams monthly to log changes and ensure competitive pricing
Requirements:
• HNC in a technical or engineering discipline
• Understanding of heavy engineering or conveyor related costing
• Able to deliver bids and critical client requirements on time and on spec
• Understanding of engineering drawings and bills of materials to validate costing
• Previous experience in technical tender creation and bid writing
