Exciting opportunity for a high profile global engineering company with offices in UK, EU & China.
Requires Structural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degree. Plus Bid Management /Commercial Background in Offshore Wind Fabrication - for tenders, bids & delivery of projects.

Well-established and respected company with large scale Projects for major clients. Our client has expanded into Project Management for Offshore Wind Fabrication.
With long term contracts to design & sign off on fabrication of Offshore Wind foundations (mix of jackets, monopiles & floating)
We are currently fulfilling the role on behalf of the client.
Role
Responsibility for Bids, Tender and Business Development for major Offshore Wind Fabrication projects in Europe.
Mix of bid/ tender/ estimate / project management for Fabrication of Offshore Wind Foundations.
- Responsible for leading and managing prequalification's and tenders, building relationships with clients, and delivering successful bids.
- understand project owner requirements.
- Lead technical meetings for clarifications and deviations.
The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work in cross-cultural teams, and strong decision-making abilities.
Essential Requirements
Structural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degree
Bid management experience
Background in Offshore Wind engineering with commercial knowledge
Experience in Offshore Wind- at either a contractor, consultancy or client.
experience with Offshore Wind steel fabricators
Ideally jacket foundation fabrication.
Knowledge of codes eg welding, coating, and quality.
Advantage:
Experience in commercial aspects of Offshore Wind (design, fabrication, installation) - ideally Jackets.
Professional qualifications/ membership/ chartered an advantage.
- knowledge of welding, coating, and quality control requirements for jacket foundations in the Offshore Wind industry.
Hybrid/ wfh Location: any of EU or UK
Engineering degree and experience of Offshore Wind Fabrication is essential for this role.
