About Us:
GRAHAM Construction is on an exciting trajectory, and we need a Bid Writer to craft compelling proposals that set us apart in the industry. As part of our team, you'll work on prestigious bids, competing at the top level against Tier 1 Contractors.
The Role:
As a Bid Writer, you'll be instrumental in our success, drafting bespoke proposals and fine-tuning existing documentation. Your writing skills will be crucial in creating exceptional bids that win over potential clients. Working under tight deadlines, you'll collaborate with internal and external contributors, shaping outstanding bid texts that showcase our expertise.
What You'll Do:
- Craft persuasive bid responses aligned with our business objectives
- Keep the Bid Manager updated on tender progress and quality standards
- Develop high-quality bid documents and technical responses in line with bid strategies
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams for proposal information
- Co-ordinate with Graphic Designers to incorporate visuals into bid responses
- Maintain databases with accurate and up-to-date information
- Continuously improve bid submissions based on feedback and site visits
- Work across regional offices to support tender opportunities
What You'll Need:
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
