Excellent opportunity for an experienced 'Bid Writer' to join dedicated team of professionals within this innovative educational charity supporting young people with disabilities. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of bid / grant writing within the education sector amd will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Core Duties include:
Conduct thorough research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and tenders relevant to the goals and mission of Landmarks. Analyse and understand the specific requirements and criteria of each funding opportunity. Work closely with internal stakeholders, including academic departments and support services, to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development. Write clear, concise, and compelling proposals that effectively communicate the college's mission, goals, and impact. Collaborate with finance and other relevant departments to develop accurate and realistic budgets aligned with the proposed projects or programs. Ensure that budget narratives align with the overall narrative of the proposal. Ensure all proposals comply with the guidelines and requirements of funding opportunities. Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain high standards in written materials. Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies, donors, and relevant stakeholders. Attend networking events and conferences to stay informed about funding trends and opportunities. The requirement:
Bachelors degree and / or A Levels or equivalent Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or grant writing ideally in the education sector Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders Strong research and analytical abilities.
