Our client is a leading Independent Training Provider committed to delivering high-quality adult education courses aimed at enhancing employability and skills in the local community. We are seeking a talented and experienced Bid Writer to join our clients dynamic team. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing additional contracts and funding by developing compelling bids and tenders. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the employability and skills market, enabling them to craft persuasive proposals that align with the organisation's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research:
Conduct thorough research on the Employability and Skills market to stay informed about trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Identify new funding streams, partnerships, and business development opportunities within the adult education sector e,g. AEB, Bootcamps etc.
Bid/Tender Development:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights necessary for bid development.
Write clear, concise, and compelling bids/tenders that highlight our strengths, capabilities, and unique selling points.
Ensure all bids are submitted on time and adhere to the specified guidelines and requirements.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, funding bodies, and partners to enhance our competitiveness in the market.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and operational teams to gather relevant data and insights for bid development.
Quality Assurance:
Review and edit bid content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with organisational objectives.
Implement feedback from internal teams and external partners to continuously improve bid quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Bid Writer in the adult education sector.
Proven track record of successful bids/tenders
In-depth knowledge of the employability and skills market and understanding of AEB, Bootcamps etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organisational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
