Bid Writer - Hybrid
Location
Our client is flexible on the location of their Bid Writer. They have offices in all of the below locations and are open to this role being a Hybrid or Remote role from any of these locations:
- Coventry
- London
- Basildon
- Stoke-On-Trent
- Guildford
- Aberdeen
- Inverness
At our client, they are looking for a persuasive and impactful Bid Writer to help them write compelling bid responses for managed services, particularly focusing on IT Support, Cyber Security, Unified Comms, Data and AI offerings.
As the Bid Writer you will play a pivotal role in their business development efforts by creating persuasive and impactful proposals that win contracts and secure new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with their sales, marketing, and technical teams to gather the necessary information and develop compelling bid responses that differentiate them from the competition.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of bid requirements and develop comprehensive bid plans and schedules.
- Monitor progress on bid-related tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure the successful execution of bid activities.
- Continuously evaluate and refine bid management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure our client’s brand message is communicated in a strong and consistent way.
Their ideal candidate will have:
- Proven track record of writing successful bid proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex bid requirements.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
