We are currently looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join a leading construction company operating within the UK. This role will be based within their Exeter office and be responsible for all activities in the Southwest regional business unit including all stages of work winning as well as supporting communications across the business unit as required.
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities.
- Coordinate and prepare and review quality Prequalification, Tender documents and Marketing media leading to respective success.
- Identify the key requirements of our clients and ensure that all submission documents demonstrably exceed these through internal and external marking.
- Ensure that the standard of all written submissions are of the highest calibre and contribute to the development of industry-leading practices in the production of our proposals.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with the Group Proposals Team to ensure that relevant information, narrative and graphics are available and in line with company directives and standards
- In collaboration with the Information Management Team in Group Proposals, maintain and develop a library of information to support submissions where appropriate.
Key Competencies:
- IT Skills: Utilise advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 and relevant software for data retrieval and editing.
- Technical Capability: Identify service/technical/business knowledge for bid preparation.
- Teamwork: Display professional and supportive behaviour, work with business development teams, and build networks.
