This is an exclusive opportunity with Hays to work within an established group which has seen year-on-year growth both organically and via acquisition.
This organisation is looking to employ a temporary Billing Administrator to provide immediate support to the general finance function whilst they integrate their latest acquisition.
THE ROLE
You will be supporting the Finance Manager & the Credit Manager to ensure the credit cycle runs smoothly.
- Full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm, hybrid (Wed & Thurs in the Poole Office)
- To start ASAP (ideally next Monday)
Responsibilities:
- Monthly & Quarterly Billing to customers
90% of billing via main legal entity, with 10% of legacy billing through 2 smaller entities - Will be a mix of time-billed and/or new software licences and licence renewals etc.
- Can be quite complex billing from a statement of works & sales orders, to then raise invoices and follow the correct process as per each contract/statement of works.
- Pushing issues/errors in SOW back to the sales team to resolve them to ensure correct invoices are going out first time
- Supporting with the integration of their latest acquisition (they have support from them for a further 2 months before they need to be fully integrated).
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
To succeed, you will need at least 2 years of experience working in a high volume billing, sales ledger and/or credit control focused role. You will need to be comfortable working as part of a team and be flexible to pitch in as and where needed to get the job done. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills are a given.
