Are you an experienced BIM Designer looking for an exciting opportunity in Colchester? Look no further! We are currently hiring a talented and skilled BIM Designer to join our clients dynamic team.
Job Description:
Our client specialises in designing, manufacturing, and fitting systems for water supply, sanitation, heat, fresh air, and gas across the UK. As a BIM Designer, you will be responsible for creating and producing 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models using REVIT Architecture or other design software programmes. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all drawings and models meet quality standards and contract documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and production work of 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models using REVIT Architecture or other design software programs.
- Prepare scope of work in model using REVIT and ensure completion to meet quality standards and contract documents.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Proposal departments to develop BIM modelling for estimates and proposal submittals.
- Assist in establishing new projects and adhere to all agreed BIM standards and execution plans.
- Contribute to content, family, and detail library development as well as template file management.
- Review and interpret contract documents, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and specifications.
- Carry out discipline-specific engineering calculations, modelling duties, and coordinate with teams for project delivery.
