Salary Mediplacements is recruiting for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry for a locum role with our client located in Bristol.
The pay for this position is £23-£25 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
HCPC registered specialist Biomedical Scientist for Automated Biochemistry with experience using BCUK AU800, DxI 800, Diasorin liaison xl, vidas (biomerieux), automate. We are currently in the process of implementing a DxA & track solution. Support required in main lab for throughput and quality processes. 37.5, Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:30 Support on Late shifts (11:30 till 20:00) Night shift support welcome (20:00 till 08:00)

Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, including routine and specialized tests in the Biochemistry Department
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained and equipment used
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments
The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience in Biochemistry.
