Job description
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day to day running of a number of sections within Microbiology utilizing the resources available and to implement senior management decisions relating to department and trust policy. He/she will also take direction from the Laboratory Service Managers and Clinical Leads on day-to-day matters relating to all aspects of UKAS accreditation and patient and staff safety in the laboratory service. .

Minimum of three years experience in microbiology at Band 6 level or above.Current registration as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). , Managerial experience.Chartered Scientist
