AddressOur Bodyshop in Swindon is looking to appoint an Assistant Bodyshop Manager.
This varied role will provide an enjoyable and challenging position leading a team of highly skilled and enthusiastic Bodyshop productives. The role also oversees the valet team and must ensure to meet the demands of new and used vehicle preparation by leading a first class vehicle Prep team.
The successful candidate will be given on the job training so this is an excellent opportunity for a Bodyshop professional to take the next step in their career. We would also welcome applications from experienced Managers who are looking to move to a new business with a welcoming team.
Our expert teams are fully qualified and trained to deal with everything from minor body repairs to full body rebuilds, using the latest technology and genuine parts and paint.
Our Assistant Bodyshop Manager will oversee the Bodyshop in conjunction with our Bodyshop Manager.
Dick Lovett Bodyshop Swindon is a purpose built Bodyshop catering for some of the most prestigious cars in the world receiving manufacturer approvals from BMW, Ferrari and Porsche, so this is an excellect opportunity to grow with us.
For this role you will need to possess the below skills:
- Strong leadership skills
- Estimating experience
- Great negotiating Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office, previous experience using Bodyshop Management systems would be advantageous but not essential
- A keen eye for detail
- Ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times
- Experience of working in a Bodyshop or with Aftersales processes, currently be in a customer facing or managerial role and will possess modern leadership skills.
This role would suit someone who is currently within a Service or Bodyshop position and looking to progress to the next level in their career.
Knowledge of warranty procedures and excellent negotiation skills when dealing with insurance engineers would also be advantageous.
