This company are committed to excellence in every area of their business. As a Book keeper, you'll support the success of their growth by recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions.

Job Title: Book keeper
Location: Ashford, Kent, with free parking and also close to local transport links
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with 1 hour for lunch
Annual leave: 20 days + a day off for your Birthday + 3 'Life Days'
As the Book keeper your duties will include:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Completing VAT returns
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the Management Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
You'll be the perfect match for this company if you have:
- Experience in a similar Book keeper role
- Experience using Sage Line 50
- A passion for detail
