Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are currently recruiting for our client, a successful manufacturing organisation based in North Ayrshire to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper /Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
Based in a small and supportive finance team, you will support with a variety of daily accounting tasks and provide month end support.
Duties Include
- Process purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Manage purchase order system
- Maintain petty cash and company credit cards
- Monitor aged debt and provide reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Post journals
- Provide month/year end support
- Conduct monthly stock checks
- Produce reports and financial data analysis
Experience Required
- Previous experience of working in a Bookkeeping, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant position
- Ideally you will have experience of working in a small, growing and fast paced environment
- Confident IT skills including MS Excel and Financial software such as Sage, Xero etc
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working across the business including Stakeholder management
