Bookkeeper Or Junior Accountant

A professional services firm in Nottingham are recruiting for either a Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant.

The role will be working as part of the accounts team, mainly doing bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and management accounts using accountancy software. You will report to Portfolio Managers and clients, to meet deadlines and provide a quality service.

Job duties:

• Bookkeeping
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Calculating month end/year end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred income, etc)
• Preparation of management accounts
• Liaising directly with clients
• Administration tasks
