Bookkeeper/Stock Auditor

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper/Stock Auditor , have ideally worked within the food/hospitality industry and would like to work for an established business who are looking to add to their team? You will need to have flexibility to visit clients on site. There is a salary of £24,000 plus good benefits including a company vehicle.

The Role:

• Stocktaking will involve counting the wet & food stock at the premises, entering all purchases and producing a Wet retail result and a food trading account.

• Accounting side is entering all Income and Invoices onto Xero software.
• Reconcile Cash & Bank accounts, produce VAT & MGD figures, finally supplying the Client with profit & loss account.

• You will visit a different pub every day, communicate with the client, and complete the work on site, explain results and how the business is running, making suggestions on prices and profit for the client.
• Reconciliation of Bank & Cash Accounts
• Doing a wet & food stock counts.
• VAT Preparation and Completion of Vat Returns
• Bookkeeping and data entry

About You:

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Have a valid driving license

• Working knowledge of Xero & Excel
• Excellent bookkeeping skills
• Excellent customer Service Skills
• Ability to prioritise own workload and work well under pressure
• Must be able to work as part of a team and be able to work on their own
• Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and a willingness to develop skills and knowledge and o the industries we service
