They have a robust presence in Newmarket, where they provide a comprehensive range of financial services to a variety of clients, catering very well to the equine industry.
Job Description
The role:
- Working with small to medium sized enterprises, often owner managed, across a variety of business sectors
- Providing a range of bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts and accounting services.
- Over time, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, and become part of their key accounting support service.
- Working with our supportive team, you will be fully trained to progress in the role, with excellent opportunities for internal promotion and development.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered, for this VAT, Bookkeeping, and Management Accountant Trainee you should have:
- A strong interest in accounting and finance.
- Strong numerical and Computer skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to work in a team and independently when required.
This role would suit someone looking to start their career in accountancy, or who has worked in an accounting department in industry and is looking for a transition to Accountancy Practice.
Please supply details of any previous accounting experience, but not essential - the role can be tailored to someone who has worked in finance or is new to accountancy.
