We are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager based in Bristol, working across our SME Mid Market Business.
A bit about the job:
You will be Accountable for Financial Performance & planning, People Management, underwriting performance and operational governance, ensuring all Underwriting Activity is delivered appropriately, and that all changes to the branch are implemented correctly – strategy, regulatory, product, governance, training and service.
Key tasks to include:
Financial Performance incl. Financial Planning - Profit and Loss for assigned Branch with a GWP of circa £130m GWP (varies from £30m to £150m)
Underwriting Performance & Governance
Branch face to market - Be visible as a strong figurehead in the local market, working alongside Regional Sales Manager to conduct a structured engagement plan with all key brokers
Consistently promote and embed Aviva’s brand values with all brokers, customers, and employees, leading by example
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strategic thinking and innovation with a view to improving customer outcomes and experience
Strong leadership and excellent relationship management skills, including stakeholder management at senior levels to drive and influence decisions
Commercial thinking, supported by strong analytical skills with a view to identifying growth and improved value opportunities
Leadership of a large multi-site Underwriting Team
External profile in the Regional Broker Market, developing new opportunities
