We are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager based in Bristol, working across our SME Mid Market Business.
A bit about the job:
You will be Accountable for Financial Performance & planning, People Management, underwriting performance and operational governance, ensuring all Underwriting Activity is delivered appropriately, and that all changes to the branch are implemented correctly – strategy, regulatory, product, governance, training and service.
Key tasks to include:
- Financial Performance incl. Financial Planning - Profit and Loss for assigned Branch with a GWP of circa £130m GWP (varies from £30m to £150m)
- Underwriting Performance & Governance
- Branch face to market - Be visible as a strong figurehead in the local market, working alongside Regional Sales Manager to conduct a structured engagement plan with all key brokers
- Consistently promote and embed Aviva’s brand values with all brokers, customers, and employees, leading by example
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strategic thinking and innovation with a view to improving customer outcomes and experience
- Strong leadership and excellent relationship management skills, including stakeholder management at senior levels to drive and influence decisions
- Commercial thinking, supported by strong analytical skills with a view to identifying growth and improved value opportunities
- Leadership of a large multi-site Underwriting Team
- External profile in the Regional Broker Market, developing new opportunities
