Job Description
JOB TITLE:Integrated Branch Plan Manager
LOCATIONS:Bristol, Edinburgh
SALARY:National: £56,421 +
HOURS:Full time
WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our hub locations.
About this opportunity
Are you passionate about colleagues and the environments they work in? Do you want to drive tangible progress in helping the Group deliver on its purpose? If this sounds like you, look no further!
The team sits within People & Places, yet we work closely with our friends in Consumer Relationships teams to deliver our branch strategy. The current Branch Plan strategy covers the material ‘bring to minimum’ standards (e.g. ensuring our branches are wind & watertight, improving staff rooms etc.) for over 200 branches over 2024/2025 and builds the future backlog to bring our estate to future standards in 2025+.
Our team also works alongside Construction & Standards, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Workplace Design, Workplace Experience & Facilities Management, Asset Management, Places Investment and Change Delivery to help enable the delivery of better branch workplaces for our colleagues. With so many teams working on improving our branches, you’ll display a positive can-do attitude and have the ability to form excellent relationships at all levels.
The role will place you into a small but high impact, friendly, and dynamic group of people who work collaboratively to make the changes happen faster. We often support each other and wider People & Places priorities, so you may get involved in projects outside of immediate team remit.
In this varied role, you’ll:
  • Get involved at an early stage of change design, helping to shape ideas and propositions.
  • Analyse multiple data sources to answer questions, identify issues within our branches and support prioritisation decisions.
  • Find opportunities to make change happen faster across our processes.
  • Be the driving force across multiple teams to help identify the optimum solutions to get our branch workplaces to future standards.
  • Ensure we link-up all branch related activity across People & Places, including consistency of messages, customer management & processes.
  • Support report writing, including monthly updates to senior collaborators across both People & Places and Consumer Relationships

What you’ll need:
  • Planning is important- you’re able to plan & prioritise based on multiple sources of data and information, with an eye for accuracy.
  • Data savvy- experience extracting insights from data and translating detail into simple messages. You’ll love data and turning it into action.
  • Inspiring change- you’ll be skilled at influencing, challenging, and leading partners to drive pace & improve outcomes for colleagues.
  • Storytelling- articulate and experienced in supporting report writing and crafting outstanding presentations as well as communicating those to colleagues up to leadership level
  • Solving problems- a keen curiosity & experience in problem solving with ability to think critically. You’ll breakdown complexity into logical structure, whilst understanding the big picture
  • ‘No job is too small’ demeanour- comfortable getting hands-on as well as taking a step-back and thinking strategically.
  • Self-motivation is key- proactively identify issues / opportunities & address them.
