Job Description

I am currently working alongside Stroud Engineering Supplies looking for a Branch Manager to work in their Bury branch.
SES are a leading distributor of engineering products with over 100 years of collective experience based in Knowsley. Their outstanding connections with significant businesses result in consistent and robust repeat business month after month.
They are currently looking for a Branch Manager with experience in the engineering sector. They supply domestic and commercial industrial tubes, valves, fittings, and associated products so experience and knowledge regarding their stock is absolutely essential.
They supply to an extensive range of customers such as
* Sole Traders
* Mechanical Contractors
* Local Water Authorities
* Hospitals
* Pharmaceutical and chemical industries
* Food industries
* Government Facilities.
The Role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Bury branch, as well as maximising leads and sales. As they currently have a strong client base, you'll be tasked with further nurturing these relationships and upselling where possible. You will be responsible for a variety of duties that pertain to creating an attractive environment for customers and managing stats. They are currently in a period of growth and investment to assist with their lead generation.
About them:
SES are a family run business since 1996, with an extremely low staff turnover looking to expand and grow. The reason for the current opportunity is that a long-standing member of staff is retiring and they're looking to replace them with someone looking to drive the organisation forward. The successful candidate will be given autonomy over the branch and will be able to really take ownership and put their stamp on the business.
Now is a really exciting time to become a part of their team, given the commitment of new investments in sales infrastructure in the 2024 agenda. This strategic focus is geared towards maximizing sales opportunities and unlocking pathways to new business.
The salary for the role will be between £35- £40k depending on experience and there will also be a lucrative bonus scheme in place.
