Salary: £32,683 pa rising to £40,004 pa after three years' service.

Location: Kegworth Office, 3c Market Place, Kegworth, Derby, DE74 2EE

Hours of Work: Attendance times to be agreed. Flexibility is required in respect of hours worked and managing office cover for administrative staff between the hours of 8 am - 6 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am - 5 pm on Friday.

A vacancy exists for a Branch Office Manager based at the Union's Kegworth Office.

The principal duties are: to manage a Branch Office and provide information and assistance to members. The post will also involve providing administrative support and supervising the work of clerical staff.

The successful applicant will possess: the ability to manage and motivate staff; the ability to communicate clear expectations of performance and behaviour and address breaches firmly and fairly; the ability to work harmoniously in a small team and with individual colleagues; the ability to respond to change, and be adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the job and the Union; the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and have well-developed planning and organisation skills; the ability to suggest improvements to systems of working.
