Brand Communication Manager, 4-6 month temporary position
Hourly rate £15.91/hr to £23.87/hr
3-4 months - immediate start
Based in Chandlers Ford - Hybrid working
Mon to Fri - 8.45am to 5pm

Purpose: The role implements the own brand strategy for a particular brand or set of brands across all Brand Communications support to ensure that a brand remains recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers. Brand communication is also responsible for capturing and delivering against the requirements of banners
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: For a particular brand or sets of brands:
Strategy:
- Plan the communication activities for a number of range reviews using inputs from the product category strategy, the brand growth plan and the banner's marketing activities taking insights from group insights, competitor benchmarking and sales data.
- Develop an ideal brand message which resonates both with the needs of the target customer and with the value proposition of the offer.
- Work closely with brand manager and creative to develop a strong brand image
- Communicate the brand promise to customers across every required touchpoints
- Ensure that all on Brand Communication for banners drive commercial KPIs
Operations:
- Write the brief for each range review's content to trade, understanding how customer's shop the range and liaising with stakeholders in each market to understand any specific requirements
- Write product USPs
- Work closely with the brand content manager to deliver required content eg illustrations, imagery, video and campaign executions
- Manage approval of all content including vendor assets
- Create presentation to markets to activate the content/communications
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a product Brand Communication role
- Proven capabilities in creating and delivering communication plans
- Excellent verbal and communication skills and a proven ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive briefs
- Cross-functional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
- Strong project management skills
- Creative perspective to bring ideas to product positioning and brand content
- Ability to thrive on working in a matrixed, always-on, environment across multiple time zones and teams
- Global experience preferred
