  • Collaborate, direct and influence with communication leads across the business to ensure we deploy a well-rounded coordinated comms plan, that delivers a leading brand experience for customers in line with our brand priorities.
  • Having a clear view of the customer experience driven from our signature Brand Communications to ensure mitigating gaps and addressing improvement opportunities.
  • Interpret and assimilate our data to help drive comms plans and outcomes against our measures set. Working with other teams to align on reporting and implementing findings.
  • Maintain a strong communications network; and help embed optimal ways of working; in shaping the integrated comms plan response. Inspire the communications team through brilliant campaign briefs shaped from the strategic comms priorities defined.
  • You’ll report to the ICP Manager for Bank of Scotland & Scottish Widows and can expect regular engagement with Strategic Communications planning.

About you:
  • Brand marketing experience for leading consumer brands - experience in planning and running high value budgets for efficient media and production plans.
  • A strong technical understanding of a broad range of marketing channels and the media landscape.
  • Partner management experience influencing and working with senior leaders in organisations.
  • Experience in interpreting and assimilating data effectively to drive plans and improve overall performance as a result with a strong eye for detail and consistency.
  • The ability to work cohesively with colleagues from various subject areas to drive impact.
  • To be restlessly curious in your craft and have a clear passion for your brands - challenging yourself and others as to what brilliant looks like and where there may be opportunities to improve outcomes. This flows into your personal development approach and focus to help craft an impactful team.
  • This is a hybrid role that will require frequent in-person collaboration within our Edinburgh Hub.
  • Diversity is key to our success, and we're committed to building an environment where everyone can provide their best while developing their career - whatever their background or thinking style.
