Job description

A FMCG Manufacturing client of ours in the Hadleigh area are recruiting a Brand Manager to join their team. This is a full-time on-site permanent position working a 35-hour week Monday - Friday (flexible hours) and paying between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on relevant skills and industry experience.

Your key duties in this Brand Managerrole will include but are not limited to:

Innovation and Project management:

  • Full accountability for delivering Brand led NPD/EPD projects, underpinned by insight through internal approval processes.
  • Creation of the Brand Strategy and implement the in-year marketing plan and developing course-correction in year.
  • Day-to-day brand and product management.
  • Ambassador for the brand portfolio and key day-to-day contact with all stakeholders.

Financials and business analysis:

  • Manage P&L - including monthly performance reporting, identification of key performance drivers and pricing & promotion recommendations.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on external performance such as competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities.

Brand communications:

  • Lead all BTL activity such as shopper marketing, sampling & digital activation and coordinating brand communication materials such as in-store POS, website and images for external customers.
  • Support development of ATL comms.
  • Supporting the Sales Team for Brand Sell-In presentations taking lead to creating and delivering outstanding experiences for buyers.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

  • Passionate about marketing and brands.
  • FMCG industry experience is essential to be considered for this role.
  • Commercially competent.
  • Understand key drivers within a brand P&L.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to build strong connections with internal and external teams.
  • Focus on customers and consumers.

Other information:

  • Flexible 35 hour working week to be worked around core hours of 10.00am- 2.30pm
  • 23 days annual leave (3 days to be used over Christmas) + Bank Holidays
  • Extra days leave for your Birthday
  • Please note this is an office-based role with no option for hybrid working
