Take a lead in shaping the future of Premier Foods Sweet Treats in this exciting Band Manager role, to deliver the exceptional growth ambitions of Cadbury in the UK & Ireland.
Opportunity for a passionate, talented, and ambitious Brand Manager to join the Sweet Treats Marketing team at Premier Foods. You will be working for Britain’s 2nd largest food company, owning & supporting the largest brand within
the business (circa £80m RSV in the UK).
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate solid brand marketing experience with strong consumer orientation. You should enjoy spending time analysing data to mine insights, develop brand strategy & growth plans for key collections and be confident in managing your P&L.
You will be a highly competent and resilient - someone who can and engage a cross functional team to deliver exceptional business results. There are huge opportunities for Cadbury through brand building, innovation, and activation to both grow our existing portfolio and enter white space. However, this is in a complex and challenging landscape with the new HFSS regulations coming into place. A balance of strategic thinking and agility is critical.
What will you do in a nutshell:
- This is a high-profile and important role for the business; you will have responsibility for managing and executing Innovation (NPD & EPD), working with cross functional internal & external teams to identify opportunities, manage brand performance, present plans& gain internal alignment with key stakeholders.
- Own and lead brand growth & action plans (ABP) for key formats such as Mini-rolls and cake bars.

What you'll be doing as a Brand Manager on Cadbury......
You will be the Ambassador for the brand portfolio and key day to day contact with all stakeholders including Mondelez.
● Brand Planning
- Implement the in-year marketing plan & developing course-correction in year.
- Lead & own the premium & key formats 3 Yr Strategy and growth plan.
● Innovation and Project management:
- Full accountability for delivering Brand led NPD/EPD projects across Mini-Rolls, Cake Bars & Celebration cakes.
- Includes: developing winning concepts & product & packaging delivered against this; leading the cross functional project team; building the commercial business case; creating launch plans; working with commercial functions to develop compelling retailer sell-in story.
● Brand communications:
- Lead trial driving and activation to support portfolio e.g., shopper marketing, sampling & digital activation, PR programs, co-ordinating brand communication materials such as in-store POS, website & images for external customers.
● Financials and business analysis:
- Manage P&L, including monthly performance reporting, identification of key performance drivers, pricing & promotion recommendations.
- Monitor, analyse & report on external performance and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities
