Job description

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, professional and caring individual who has a either a level 2 NVQ qualification in Child Care or equivalent as a minimum or experience of working in a similar setting.You will be required to work 7.5 hours per week, 7.15am – 8.45am in our Breakfast Club Mon – Fri. This post is during term time only (39 weeks a year).Our Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs provide a safe, creative and friendly environment for children. Children are encouraged to participate in activities and build relationships with children of all ages. You will also be required to undertake key worker responsibilities along with basic administrative duties.The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar setting and be able to demonstrate the skills and experiences required to interact and develop young children. This vacancy will be to work at the Kersall Drive or Scotland Campus and at times to work in partnership at across both campuses.At Heathfield you will find a dedicated staff team who work very closely together to ensure pupils are well looked after, in a safe environment with a vibrant ethos that is highly conducive to learning.

Visits to the school are an expectation and are available on the following dates:1. Thursday 11th January 2024, 4.30pm – Scotland Road Campus 2. Monday 15th January, 5pm – Kersall Drive Campus3. Tuesday 16th January, 5pm – Scotland Road Campus Other mutually convenient times may be arranged.

A current valid DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Certificate is essential as well as completion of the Staff Suitability Declaration for this post.
