Our client is looking for a BREEAM Consultant to join their multi-disciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy. The firm have been around for 15 years and work across a range of sectors such as; Commercial, Retail, Education, Defence, Healthcare, Industrial, Transport, Sport, and many more.
BREEAM Consultant Requirements:
- BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Environmental, Construction or similar
- Relevant experience
- Licensed BREEAM Assessor (BREEAM New Construction or BREEAM Refurbishment and fit-out)
- Brilliant communication skills, written and verbal
- BREEAM AP (Desirable)
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills
- Computer Literate
- Experience working across multiple sectors E.g. Residential, Commercial, Defence, Healthcare etc (Desirable)
BREEAM Consultant Duties:
- Undertake & Lead BREEAM Assessments from feasibility stage through to project completion
- Attend client and design team meetings as required
- Advise clients and the project team on BREEAM scores and credit compliance requirements
- Prepare validation statements and reports to be submitted to BRE
- Produce progress reports and update BREEAM credit tracker
- Liaise with clients, design team and contractors
- Carry out site audits during the construction phase and prepare records of site visits and audit reports
- Responding to BRE QA review comments and closing out non-conformances
- Assist with production of BREEAM AP reports
- Aid in preparation, monitor, and report of project cost and budgets
- Support junior members of the team
