Bricklayer

Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses and the

ability to interpret diagrams and specifications.

Carry out work as allocated by the Team Leader within set timescales and to the recognised.

. Ensure that safety procedures and documents are adhered to.

. Laying Brick and or Blocks and working accurately with detailed plans and specifications.

.· Measuring, marking up, cutting, fitting, and finishing Brickwork and Blockwork.

.Using a range of hand and power tools effectively to perform construction task.

. Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement. Erecting brickwork structures such as face walls, internal walls and retaining walls.

. Carry out work outdoors in reasonable adverse weather conditions and at height safety.

Attend technical, quality, safety and general briefing ensuring action taken on times raised.

.Work closely with other brick layers to ensure quality of work and support the overall

objective.

Carry out quality checks, where relevant, product meets quality and safety standards.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined, you may be required to undertake other

duties commensurate with your level and competence, which may result from changing

circumstances, but which may not necessity change the general character or level of responsibility of

the post.

Pay: From £28,350.00 per year
