BRIDAL MANAGER (Mat cover)

The Bridal Manager will be based between our flagship store on Sloane Street and the Emilia Wickstead Head Office, they will host all bespoke bridal appointments, representing the brand within the bridal and retail departments, reporting to Senior Directors with a Senior Bridal Associate reporting into them.

The successful candidate requires an understanding of luxury service, and experience in the bridal or bespoke/couture fashion sector.

They will have a demonstrated history of success in sales, impeccable service and have a good knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and a broader knowledge of the brand and relevant trends.

The individual will continue to build on the reputation of the luxury service offered within the bridal department, with opportunity to share your knowledge and experience and develop the brand with the broader team in this next exciting chapter.

Location: London

Position: Full time – Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays as required

Maternity Cover(12 months) January 2024 start

Base salary plus sales commission

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Offering a warm and professional service to all clients

· Styling brides with total looks envisioning the Emilia Wickstead woman

· Managing own diary, clienteling, processing customer information

· Responding to bespoke enquiries, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients

· Maintain comprehensive knowledge across all departments, including ready-to-wear collections and homeware

for cross-selling opportunities

· Support the bridal team across departments for all bridal clients, managing the timeline of all bridal journeys and

ensure an elevated service and standard

· Hosting fitting appointments with Head Fitter for all alterations

· Support the bridal department within the store with varied responsibilities across stock management, visual

merchandising, and general housekeeping

· Managing bridal targets within the department, developing strategies to increase sales working alongside

company Directors

· Managing the bridal critical path

The Candidate:

· An intelligent and resilient person with integrity and an optimistic and courteous attitude

· Strong communication skills with excellent ability to multitask while working well alongside a team

· Computer literate with a good understanding of Excel and Outlook

· Analytical, detail oriented and highly organised

· Someone with a professional manner who is aesthetic driven

· Good understanding of garment construction/design

· Industry awareness and strong knowledge of market trends

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience within the bridal industry or bespoke/couture retail environment
• Previous experience in a managerial role
• A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
• Proficient level of numeracy and literacy
• Fashion or Design qualification desirable
